IKALKUNSKEN Los Conquenses.

Según tenemos constancia esta tribu de los IKALKUNS-Ken la tenemos ubicada por Leandre Villaronga en su libro "CORPVS" en la actual ciudad de Iniesta.
En la antigua ciudad Ibera se halló uno de los mosaicos más antiguos con representación de la Diosa Astarté así lo demuestran sus atributos la paloma. las flores de loto y su posición erótica con las piernas abiertas mostrando su sexo en sentido de fecundidad. En ese mosaico también sale un lobo aunque no es muy visible.La Importancia de la ciudad de Egelasta en época romana fué por sus minas de sal. Recordemos que en la antiguedad la sal era tan cotizada como el oro. La palabra salario : viene de estas transacciones comerciales con la sal.
Podemos pensar que los iberos ya explotaban dichas minas siendo esta una ciudad importante en este sentido minero  comercial.
El nombre Ibero de la ciudad no está claro aunque desglosando la palabra
IKAL :  ¿ Palabra posiblemente relacionada con las minas de Sal ?

IKALKUNS : Es el nombre de la tribu de dicha area comercial.
KEN : es un etnónimo aunque podría referirse a la palabra GENS utilizada por los romanos .( Gentes de Ikalkus. )
IKALKUNS-KEN: El territorrio de los IKALKUNS. ó GENtes de IKALKUS.
Peculiaridades:
Tanto en la zona de la Oretania como en esta zona Conquense se aprecia el alfabeto Ibero del sur ; Aunque la letra  s de Kastil ó Kastelo y la s de Ikalkunsken són del alfabeto Egeo/Minoico o también coincide con el alfabeto Tartesio.
Sabemos que las rutas comerciales que tenian los Iberos así como la via Heraclea que es anterior a la Via Augusta Romana corresponden a las necesidades de comunicación de dichas tribus para comerciar en este caso la sal y en otros casos la plata y otros metales con las tribus vecinas.
Otras fuentes transcribieron la moneda como IKALESKEN - Ikalensken; Aunque el círculo con un punto se transcribe como letra KU , En la foto adjunta vereis diferentes formas de escritura de esta moneda referente a esta tribu y también sale el rombo que se lee Ku. Así no puede leerse Ikales sino Ikalkus-ken. 
 También hay moneda con la inscripción IKALKUS.  Podreis ver que unas monedas estan acuñadas con el nombre de IKALKUSKEN y otras con el nombre de IKALKUNSKEN.(Conquenses) esta parte KUN se repite en la tribu de los BASKUNES. (Vascones) Suponemos que al igual que la tribu de los OSKUMKEN  (Oscenses)  Tendrian una filiación linguística similar proveniente de migraciones desde las estepas Siberianas o los Balcanes.       ( clica en la foto)

Peculiarities:
