URKESKEN los Urketanos.

La ceca Urkesken se situa por algunos estudiosos en la antigua ciudad Ibera de Urkesa situada hoy en día en la ciudad de Alcaraz. Tiene Este enclave la peculiaridad de encontrarse en quatro cuencas hidrográficas el rio Guadalquívir, el rio Guadiana,El rio Jucar y el rio Segura. La palabra Ibera UR tiene referencia a manantiales de agua con lo cual es más que probable que dicha capital de esta tribu fuese la actual Alcaraz. La ciudad Iberoromana de Libisosa está relativamente cerca también formando parte del camino de Aníbal posteriormente la via Augusta en época romana.

Peculiaridades:
La s de Urkesken al igual que la s de Ikalkunsken coinciden con el alfabeto Egeo/Minoico arcaico o el alfabeto Tartesio. Lo que hace evidente que dicha ceca es de signario Ibero suroriental.
Vamos a desglosar la palabra Ibera:
UR = manantial de agua.
URKES(a) : referente a la ciudad de URKESA 

URKES-KEN : Se refiere a la tribu de los URKETANOS.
 Al mismo tiempo el sufijo ken lo comparo al Gens romano.

The mint Urkesken is located by some scholars in the old city Ibera of Urkesa located today in the city of Alcaraz. This enclave has the peculiarity of being in four river basins the Guadalquívir river, the Guadiana river, the Jucar river and the Segura river. The word Ibera UR has reference to springs of water with which it is more than probable that this capital of this tribe was the current Alcaraz. The Iberoroman city of Libisosa is relatively close also forming part of the Via Augusta in Roman times.

UR = water spring in old iberian.

URKES (a): referring to the city of URKESA

URKES-KEN: Refers to the tribe of the URKETANS.
  At the same time the Ken suffix compared it to the Roman Gens.
